This is Monday's look. I did not have a chance to shoot on Sunday for a variety of reasons. It was kind of a rough day. So, while we missed a day we're technically up to speed.
Today I had a chance to play with two new products. Well, not really new, but unused thus far. They are: Pixie Epoxy by Fyrinnae, and a Madison Street Beauty pigment called Golden Apple.
Pixie Epoxy is a sticky, glue-like product that comes in a lipgloss container and is applied with a doe foot wand. You tap it across the lid and then I blend it in with my finger to spread it around the lid. It's very sticky and is meant to be used primarily for adhering to pigments and foiling metallic shadows or clinging furiously to glitter. It's a bit frustrating to work with, though. I think a little bit of drying time is needed.
The Madison Street Beauty pigment is a glorious golden green and became nearly reflective when I used it with the Pixie Epoxy. Since I wore glasses, I wanted to do a bit brighter eye color. I love the way it caught the light, and it lasted all day.
OH AND YOU GUYS- this NYX brow product is the best thing I have ever used. You get a circular pan of wax and two small pans of matte brown shades, one lighter and one darker. In the Brunette palette, it's like milk chocolate and dark chocolate. It comes with a small angled brush and a small spoolie.
I rolled the small spoolie over the wax pan and then brushed that onto the brows for texture and pull. I used the small angled brush (any angled brush will do), rubbed it in the dark brown pan, and applied the color to my brows. This product cut down on my brow routine and I think in the two days I've used it, these are the best brows I've ever had. My skin is oily and sometimes product tends to smear around after some time has passed- not these brows, baby.
