When in doubt, go for a brown smokey eye, and if you're feeling brazen just sprinkle some glitter on that shit.
I believe in glitter. Believe in its ability to diversify a look and to be worn during the day. It's the hot sauce to the pizza of makeup...or, something.
My method is to apply the shadow/s as desired and then tap a tacky glitter primer on top and let it hang out for about 15 seconds. I use my ring finger to apply it. While waiting, I tap some glitter into the lid of its jar. When I'm ready to apply, I dip my pinky into the glitter (or use a small brush if available and clean) and pat the glitter onto the primer all over the lid, just until I get to my crease. Since the primer is sticky, you can't brush the glitter into place: it must be tapped on for even coverage. Bonus: the glitter primer acts as a sealant and extends the wear time of eyeshadows.
Keep everything else simple (or go nuts if you so please, it's your face) by opting for a naked lip.
