RIP to Day 56, whose photos I unceremoniously deleted off my camera before backing them up. Don't drink and blog, guys. Regardless, Day 56 was a gorgeous day full of zombie-inspired eye colors and some sparkles: red and green shadow (done tastefully) with gold glitter on top. It was very beautiful.
I worked an emergency shift at the restaurant, then stayed for a thank you dinner and some wine (worked for a coworker who had a family emergency). It was a good opportunity to try some old favorites and a new seasonal dish, and it ended up turning into a mini night out with coworkers and boyfriend in tow to dine and drink. After biking home and then the circus of breaking my key and breaking into my apartment via the window, it ended up being a long night, which is why, after making the post for that night, I accidentally wiped my camera...
...and then woke up looking a bit more tired than usual, which yielded Day 57's look. You'll notice white eyeliner on the lower waterline: that's a trick to brighten your eyes and open them up, particularly effective when you're tired. It's a caffeine boost for your eye area. I did a simple neutral shadow and a really low fuss look in general, but made it fun with a bright lip. In honor of Beer Friday at work (and a coworker's birthday + a going away party), I threw on the Surly shirt and matched my kisser to its red threads.
