So I woke up around 9am and suddenly remembered that I was supposed to do a friend's makeup that day. We were both a bit off kilter in the morning, me having stayed out late and sleeping only 6 hours and her just feeling a bit sluggish and sick. We met a bit earlier than planned for brunch, so I flew out of bed and threw on a very plain face prior to her arrival, as I had about 30 minutes. It seems like a lot of time, but I like to enjoy my morning and take a full hour usually, but I had to hustle a bit. It was great to catch up, have a good breakfast, and do her makeup. She also got me hooked on Breaking Bad. Leah, if you're reading this, I got all the way through S1 yesterday and a few episodes into S2. OOF. SUCH FEELS.
As the day passed, I spent some time building the look as I laid around watching BB and contemplating a possible outing later. Initially, I only used Mugshot on the lid (a sort of shimmery warm taupe color) and then layered Burnout (a shimmery mauve-y pink) on top of that. To give some depth, I dipped the brush in Blackheart and dusted it around the crease and blended outward. A combination of the NYX and Givenchy lip products yielded a punchy pout.
And all I did was lay around all night and day like a lazy sack of potatoes feeling sad about life while looking great. Do yourself a favor and limit your back to back watching of Breaking Bad to only a few episodes and not a few seasons.
