glitterglitterglitter. It's a bit hard to see in the photos, which I've noticed happens every time I attempt to capture the look. Note to self: research "how to photograph glitter". Melancholy One is a lovely silvery grey eyeshadow I made more lively by adding glitter. As Gum Drop is a light periwinkle color, it added a nice pop of color to the shadow and sort of lifted it. There will be more glitter in my future (srsly ordered like 7 jars).
The e.l.f. blush was a surprise. It looks dark plum in the bottle, and I bought it for my freelancing kit because I thought it might be the right hue for darker skins. NOPE. Well, maybe. Once pumped and worked into a brush, you're met with a shocking raspberry color; imagine someone going to town on a raspberry bush with a shovel and the subsequent color of berry guts splattered all over the nice white garage door. Glad I got to work with it, though. Using that stuff really takes a steady and skilled hand, otherwise you end up looking clown face. The good news is that you become a fast expert in blending if you go awry. I've gone from mid-level blender to ultimate blending wizard since I started using this stuff (though sparingly, and spread over the course of a few weeks). e.l.f. totally killed it with this line of blushes. I am very impressed, especially because e.l.f. can be a bit hit or miss sometimes.
Also, I got my hair cut since these photos were taken. It's weird looking upon the Naseem of yesterday, as I truly feel like a new human with the updated locks.
Thanks for reading this jumbled bullshit. I have a massive headache. To bed with me. Perhaps this will make more sense in the morning.
