I got a hair cut the day before this look and it totally made me feel refreshed and brand new. The new hair along with my new sweater (which is a Who What Wear piece, and I got it for a steal at Target) revitalized my spirits a little bit, although the seasonal depression bout caused me to cry about some silly shit that day.
BUT- it was date night and eventually I got out of my funk. We went to go see The Royal Family at the Guthrie and then had drinks with the leading lady and her husband after the performance.
How does this happen, you ask? A few weeks ago, I served them at Haute Dish and they were so smitten with me (duh) that a week later the husband came back with two tickets for me to attend a Tuesday night performance. It was a brilliant show, and they treated us to some cocktails afterward. And yes, the show made me cry. But it made me laugh a LOT. Great cast, amazing script, beautiful set. I'd highly recommend you attend if you can. It was also my first show at the Guthrie, so it was extra special!
THREE. DAYS. LEFT. HOLY. CHRIST.
