Anybody who knows me knows that I am quite the fan of Brand New. They came to St. Paul in October. I've been fortunate I think to see them three times in the last 15 months, and the excitement felt each time is always the same: heart quivers, lyrics are sung at full volume, tears fall from my eyes.
And that's why I always wear the heaviest liner I can. I think it's a sort of test to myself to see either how much I can cry off or how good my application skills are that the liner doesn't even budge.
For this look I did a heavy wing with neutral matte shadow all over the lid. You can't really tell in this photos, but I did line black glitter over the eyeliner just for funsies. Down on the lower lash line I smudged a teal shade for a pop of color.
Surprisingly, I didn't cry at all at the show. But the rush of emotion was gnarly.
