I feel like my first photo is me posing for business head shots LOLOLOL.
I totally forgot about this rad lip color. The formula is absolute money. For a matte, it's sooo creamy and the wear time is pretty excellent. This color is so magical, somewhere in between true fuchsia and bright raspberry. I paired it with yellow eyeshadow, bright green liner and icy blue highlighter because who don't love a cluster of colors. The green liner is a bit indiscernible in these photos. I ran it on my lower water line and smudged it slightly around the bottom lashes.
I was going to work with this look and one of my restaurant jobs has a slightly more conservative appearance policy, but I like to push the envelope as much as I can. I consider this a happy medium between looking polished and professional while still rocking some bright colors. If the right palette is used and the right application/technique put into practice, you can balance the look perfectly.
Lately I've been repurposing some baked eyeshadows as highlights for my cheekbones. I have a couple e.l.f. shimmery shadows that are just gorgeous when applied wet. The sheen on the skin is unreal.
