Toussaint and I attended a wedding this past Saturday for one of his fraternity brothers. It was held at Bearpath Gold Course, which was designed by pro golfer Jack Nicklaus and happens to be built in a gated community. The amount of wealth surrounding us as we pulled into the parking lot was quite a sight to behold. Apparently several professional Minnesota sport players live there. Yay money! Yay privilege!
The most appropriate spring wedding dress I own is a simple lavender sheath dress with slightly marbled pattern dyeing and a cowl neck. It happens to wonderfully match my new purple hair and these kick ass high heels I bought over the winter. I did my eye makeup to match.
Aside from my typical daily products, I amped up my look with an airbrush foundation base and then layered a light pat of my normal products over, then misted my face with a setting spray and blended everything with a very damp Beautyblender. I love how everything lasted through the night. Even the glitter fallout was minimal. The Lily glitter by Violet Voss is a beautiful whiteish lavender with some silvers and blue, so it almost perfectly matched the shoes but was a bit lighter in color. The whole evening was all purple everything.
At this point in the day. I was kind of burnt out on weddings. The morning of, I'd worked two weddings back to back for about seven hours. Whew! I was glad to be home at the end of the night.
