I'll never forget this exact day. Sometimes the days I capture are blurs whereas others are clear as a bell.
This was the day before Thanksgiving, which was also my first day after leaving my job. And I also tried a different shooting angle in the bathroom because the light is still a finnicky thing (although I did recently order a new, larger ring light so fingers crossed that third time's the charm!). When one has a day off before a holiday, one obviously bakes cheesecakes and gets day drunk and gets all dolled up because why the hell not.
It was also snowing softly and beautifully this day. The pale sun broke through the clouds in a grey-green haze while white flakes spun lazily to the earth. Before hurrying off to acquire cheesecake materials, I stood outside reveling in the crisp air and soft light. It was such a peaceful moment.
K ANYWAY. The winter sky inspired this look, so I used the Wintergreen eyeshadow from Madison Street Beauty. It's a really lovely gold-green-blue shadow and reminded me of the diffused sky outside. It has a pale gold sheen to it too, and to play off of it I patted some Goldilux on top. I shaded around it with some neutral shadows that are Sigma favorites and threw on a winged liner before gitzing the lower lash line with two different glitters.
Now I'm wondering if I got glitter in the cheesecakes...
