Writing about past makeup looks that have over a month's distance between now and then is REALLY hard. I'm going to venture out on a limb here and say that this was a Monday. As I write this from the coffee shop, I'm scrunching my face into wrinkled thinking positions in order to call any sort of detail from the day in question. I'm at about 30%. What I can recall is that I dug out the Pantone makeup collection from three years ago, when Tangerine Tango was deemed the color of the year. I bought this beautiful collect from Sephora. I remember this being one of my first "serious" purchases. And yes, I DO have everything still from this palette. Srsly, I'll have to pass on my makeup to my children. ANYWAY- oranges and corals are usually touted as bold colors, but this day I went for a softer look that had enough warmth and color for a Monday morning.
The good news in this hubbub is that since I moved, I haven't been photographing any looks. The reason for this is that given the new setup, I need to invest in a light source. Unfortunately, the natural light is not *as* abundant, and I happen to have a decent amount of wood paneling. I know, so 70s right? As I catch up from August looks to what will hopefully be early October's resurgence of my daily snapshots, I will have closed the gap I created for myself this summer and will once more be on track. Yay!
On that note, I'm appreciative of you folks who have inquired about the status of 365DOM/my wellbeing, as this blog tells that story pretty well and you can see where it started to teeter as an extension of my mental state a while back. I intended to do this for 365 consecutive days, but what I'm finding really matters is that I see it through to 365 full days, regardless. Here's to 211 more looks to follow! What do you think I should do to celebrate the end? And furthermore, what shall be the fate of this project after the final day has passed? I'd love some feedback!
