Crabby face in full effect yet again. The wireless shutter release remote I bought recently has died, despite having a life of 2yrs or 10,000 exposures. I use the remote to take the photos each morning and the independence allows me a fuller range of motion and positioning. Unfortunately, the past two days' worth of photos are not up to my standards because I've had to stand much closer to do manual shutter release, and this limits my posing significantly. Luckily, I got a new remote today that is not an off brand.
The winter is really breaking my spirit, and I think the apathy shows in my face today. Either way, I commit to my routine because it feels good, and I like to put myself together this way. Despite feeling shitty, I rarely skimp. I hadn't used any of the eye products in eons, so I thought I'd bust them out to make a soft plum look for daytime. Kitschmas is nice for a highlight- it's a light pink, almost white, and very multidimensional. X by Urban Decay was my first UD product, bought for a wedding look I was doing, and it's a beautiful summery color that sort of reminds me of MAC's Expensive Pink, just more on the gold side. I used it all over the lid on top of Trax as an illuminator.
Loving UD's Loose Definition Powder, which I just got in the mail. MAC and UD are neck in neck for their quality of face products. I tried their Naked face products on a whim each time, and have been so pleased. The risk was worth it. Urban Decay never disappoints.
