NYX Macaron Lipstick in Orange Blossom
I used the other two colors from the Heartbreaker palette in this look and did a purple-to-blue diffusion with a cat eye on top. To warm up the rest of my face, I stuck with the orange blush again and then opted for the pale orange NYX lippie from the macaron set. I'm still not convinced that I can pull it off, so I ended up blotting the hell out of it so it was a sheerer stain rather than an opaque lip color. In my opinion, pastel lip colors are tough to pull off unless you are exceptionally fair or exceptionally dark.
Also, I don't know if MAC doesn't play well with NYX, but I noticed the lip primer did not really do much for my lips before applying the lipstick. I still had color settling into my lines. Perhaps it was user error, and I didn't allow enough time for the primer to sink in. That aside, blotting helped and the pale orange sheen was there for most of the day. All in all, I guess the whole look ended up being a light sunset colors sorta theme.
