June 16 was the first day Iran played in the World Cup. When I did my Brazilian-themed look the other day, I was inspired to recreate a unique look for each match Iran would play using red, white, and green in lieu of a nonexistent jersey or flag to wrap around my body.
On this first iteration, I did an allover wash on the eye with a matte neutral eyeshadow a few shades darker than my skin for a bit of depth. Still on the ombre eyeliner train, I did a green-to-black cat eye by using a Stila liquid eyeliner and a DIY liner by using the e.l.f. medium and sahbz (green) eyeshadow. I really like how the color is subtle, but bright enough to be noticed in the inner corner.
On the lash line I rubbed a sefeed (white) eyeliner for a brightening effect. Since I wore a white shirt and earrings, I didn't want to go overboard on plentiful white makeup of any kind. The shirt really does dictate the rest of the color balancing. Finally, I wore a bold red lipstick as the ghermez (red) to bring the whole look together. CHE KHOSHGHEL HASTAM EMROOZ.
Also, in case you missed my post last night, check out this review/partnership I did with Glambot. It has the details and mini reviews/musings of three products they sent me. Plus, at the end, there's a discount code for you to use! Happy shopping.
