ON WEDNESDAY, IT WAS THE CHER CONCERT. OH GOD.
So, knowing my getup later would be bananas, I opted for a neutral-ish canvas. Later, I slapped on a bunch of glitter and hella mascara.
I also felt that Wednesday was my first "pretty" day of the week. It sounds vain as hell, I realize that. However, I'm spinning the perspective and instead taking it as an opportunity to reflect on exactly what makeup is to me, and what it does for me. Those are some of the founding principles behind this project: to observe and know the meaning of cosmetics in my life. Yes, it gives me confidence, but that isn't to necessarily say I feel lesser, or even ugly, without makeup. Confidence is the key word here.
It also may have been a really good hair day.
